Here, collectors, enthusiasts, and anyone curious enough can access tons of pictures and information about traffic lights of all kind, and more. The main purpose of this site is to display old and unusual traffic lights that are surviving in modern day across the country, which I've thoroughly photographed and documented. I travel around the state of Virginia and beyond to find and preserve the oft-unnoticed dying breeds of old and rare signals. Why all this? I can't explain exactly why I'm so interested in signals, but documenting, collecting, and learning more information about traffic lights are things that I enjoy doing. I'm the first and only person to create such a display of large scale documentation, and without this site, many old signals will have gone to the next life without passing on their legacies. The nearing-one-hundred-thousand pictures and videos within this website are posted to be enjoyed by all. In addition to wild signal documentation, this website contains pages with general information on specific brands or types of traffic lights, documentation of my traffic light collections, as well as a number of other projects I've started (such as writing a new code for traffic signal design). So go ahead, start browsing - there's a lot to discover. Below is a gallery of some of the best pictures on this site - click on one to jump to the page it's on, if you're feeling lucky.

WARNING! Please mind the following rules of using this website. If these become an issue, this site can no longer be public.
(1) DO NOT TAKE ANY PICTURES OR OTHER MEDIA FROM THIS SITE without express permission. The pictures, videos, graphics, databases, maps, and information within this site are my property (unless otherwise stated) and are for general public viewing and enjoyment only. If you wish to use any of this site's media for your own purposes, please Contact Us. (2) DO NOT ATTEMPT TO ACQUIRE ANY OLD TRAFFIC LIGHTS DOCUMENTED ON THIS SITE. If you contact a municipality about their old signals, you will draw attention to them and accelerate their removal process. In addition, you lessen the chance of anybody getting them when they do come down, especially if multiple people express interest. If you see signals for the first time documented on this site, RESPECT THE ORDER OF DISCOVERY and leave them alone. I myself may already be in contact with the municipality.
