Google MyMaps is where I create all signal location maps, including the map of the entire state of Virginia and the map of various places across the U.S.A.
I HAVE ABANDONED MY FLICKR ACCOUNT, due to both the ease of having my pictures stolen, and the difficulty of maintaining both that account and this website.
All that remains there is pictures uploaded prior to winter of 2014. ALL OF THOSE PICTURES, IN ADDITION TO ALL OF THE CURRENT ONES, ARE ON THIS WEBSITE! This site is now my primary host of pictures.
And with all this talk of my various media networks, please don't forget the site guidelines...
Please mind the following rules of using this website. If these become an issue, this site can no longer be public.
(1) DO NOT TAKE ANY PICTURES OR OTHER MEDIA FROM THIS SITE without express permission. The pictures, videos, graphics, databases, maps, and information within this site are my property (unless otherwise stated) and are for general public viewing and enjoyment only. If you wish to use any of this site's media for your own purposes, please Contact Us.
(2) DO NOT ATTEMPT TO ACQUIRE ANY OLD TRAFFIC LIGHTS DOCUMENTED ON THIS SITE. If you contact a municipality about their old signals, you will draw attention to them and accelerate their removal process. In addition, you lessen the chance of anybody getting them when they do come down, especially if multiple people express interest. If you see signals for the first time documented on this site, RESPECT THE ORDER OF DISCOVERY and leave them alone. I myself may already be in contact with the municipality.
This is THE forum for traffic signal enthusiasts and collectors. Here, you can connect with 200+ fellow hobbyists and find tons of hidden information. It features many discussion sections, a Wiki startup, and a document archive -- plus, a number of meets are hosted every year. In addition to signals, the forum is for signs and other road equipment. Check it out today.
This is a much larger forum oriented around roads, highways, and signs, though not so much traffic lights. In addition to the forum, there's an AARoads website with a treasure trove of highway documentation and information. If you're interested in roads at all, take a look at this site.
